NEW LISTINGS: Ideally, when you get a new listing, The Agent’s 911 System should be installed and remain at the property for the duration of the listing. That way, no matter when the property is shown to a prospective buyer, all the real estate agents with an activator have access to the system. In addition, the sign included with the system should be posted in a prominent place, so other agents are aware of the extra security feature offered at your listing.
An added benefit is that an activator can be left with the property owner. That way, if a potential buyer sees your real estate sign and stops to see the property without an appointment, the property owner would have access to the system.
OPEN HOUSE: When the real estate agent arrives to set up for the Open House, the agent just connects the Emergency Notification unit into a telephone jack and an electrical outlet in a central location. They can then post the The Agent's 911 sign so that it can be seen by those coming to view the property. (The sign alone could be a deterrent to a possible criminal.) Finally, the hosting agent(s) wear or keep an activator with them during the Open House. Since the activators can function from up to 300 feet away, assistance is just "a push of a button" away.
Model Homes: Many crimes against real estate professionals have been committed at Model Homes. Ideally, when a model home is set up, The Agent’s 911 System should be installed and remain there for the entire time that the home is being shown. Unlike an alarm system, there are no monthly fees involved with The Agent's 911 System, and it can be easily moved to the next Model Home.
